Camion Magnum Dredge, a small crankbait of 36mm,
amazingly achieved a diving depth of 3m by retrieve of 20m.
Equipped with a tungsten weight and a barbless treble
hook
it is designed to attack the bottom area for
inactive trout under fishing pressure. The cast ability has been
improved further by slightly cutting back on buoyancy and
increasing the weight.
As a result of thinning the lip to the limit, the
stable wobbling common to our former Camion series has become
more powerful and wider. Such
wide action of lures is deadly and irresistible to big trout.
When targeting relatively inactive trout positioning
from the surface to the middle range, it is recommended to use
dead slow retrieve, holding your rod upright.
You can probe a certain range by adjusting rod angle and
retrieve speed. When
targeting the fish at the bottom area, a slow and steady
retrieve with the rod tip lowered works better.
