Offshore Stick AMJ - A specialized rod for technical jigging targeting Tuna and Yellowtail, with amazing slimness, lightness, maneuverability, and durability.

AMJ series, which are developed mainly to target tuna and yellowtail, are amazing jigging rods. The blanks are made of mid-high modulus graphite reinforced by kevlar graphite, which conveys angler’s technique to a jig accurately and quickly, and therefore, is optimal for technical jerk, like what is called “Hirado Jerk”.

Soft short tip section, long belly section with high tensile strength, and durable butt section are especially great for a maneuver to flip up a long, center-weighted balance jig and have it stay swimming long. Super high modulus and high strength kevlar graphite used from mid- belly section to butt section is so powerful that it does not allow amberjack to fight back, which runs straight to the bottom at the time of hooking,

AMF-SF510 for Saber fish

A model exclusively for large saber fish. Soft short tip section and long belly section with high tensile strength make it an optimal rod for all saber jigging, from steady retrieve to jerking. Due to the setting of spiral guides, It responds accurately to the strikes during the falling of jig. In addition, it reduces hooking-off considerably and secures the setting of hook because of smooth tork transfer.

Maximum loads for rod angles 40°and 90°　are listed for your easy understanding of rod ability and awareness of the fact that the more you hold the rod upright, the less strength, This load indicates the maxmum static load at an angle where a rod is under the heaviest load (when the fish is underneath). The narrower the line angle is (the angle between rod and line widens), the bigger (stronger) the figure.

◆ Guide: Titanium ion plating SIC ocean guide double-wrapped. AMJ-54L, 52M, SF510 are spiral guide spec. Spinning models’ butt guide are all reverse spec.

◆ Reel Seaｔ : Fuji’s TCS for bait model, and Fuji’s DPS for spinning model. Both are long nut spec. The body is slip resistant (excep for AMJ-SF510)

◆ Parts : A metal ring is attached to the end of seat for bait model, and aluminum sleeve for spinning model. Rubber end cap is attached to the grip end (excep for AMJ-SF510).
